Top beach cafe buy after a few hours in that chilly water was a big mug of frothy Horlicks! Roger Mansfield was a couple of years above me at school, something of a local hero at the time - I will look for his book. I have a photo of it somewhere in my 1963 Tolcarne Beach Scrap Book. Paul I miss you and cherish those memories of which you are such a TREASURED PART. iF YOU HADN'T Borrowed my "Malibu" you could have been a doctor. Tammi and I enjoyed having dinner with you in the falling light of San Clemente, I can still hear your voice calling out from 2 blocks away, "Mahogany Jack." I still cherish the memory of going down the Cribbar and savoring the ice cream cone that Pip so gallantly handed me after my wipeout! Have you made your way back to Makaha yet. I had my first surf lesson from ...Thanks for this! I had my first surf lesson from the BSA in Newquay in 2003. I changed my life and moved to find surf after that.
